What does the Clear + Brilliant® procedure feel like?
Most patients describe a pricking feeling and an increased sensation of heat during the treatment. For the original Clear + Brilliant® treatment – topical anaesthetic ointment will be applied before the procedure. Afterwards, you may have mild redness and swelling, which typically subside within a few hours. For the Clear + Brilliant® Permèa treatment – topical anaesthetic ointment will be applied before the procedure. Topical skincare product, such as an antioxidant serum, will be applied to each treatment area after the treatment is administered. This combination approach decreases post-treatment skin responses such as redness and swelling.
What skincare product?
Depending on the reason for treatment (eg pigmentation or open pores) you will need to use a skincare product after treatment. Manufactured by Aspect Dr®, Active C Serum is a vitamin C antioxidant serum and Complete Pigment Serum is a brightening serum. The at-home skincare regime is an important part of your treatment.
